This kind of system is called headend.
A master satellite antenna (one per building), and video/audio decoders (receivers) generate a TV signal that can be distributed in SD or HD to all the rooms. Each one will receive the same programming.
A single outdoor antenna feed a number of indoor units. Every receiver can handle specifics channels. All the channels are available through coax using RF signal. High Definition is available through coax. The channels are accessible and independent for all the users.
